A quick thought for week three of placements...
A friend of mine also on rounds(not from our tute(s) unfortunately) overheard two teachers talking in the staffroom.
"You know, ours is the only profession where we have to force people to take what they've already payed for."
What do you do when someone doesnt want what you offer?
What does this say about the product?
What does this have to do with a big, imaginary, metaphorical spinning wheel?
These questions are due in a week and you'll be on detention if i dont see at least half a page on each, im sick of you slacking... Tim, sit down or get out..

That's interesting what that teacher said hey. I'm going to think about that a bit more....
As far as 'class be quiet, sit down and do these questions....' well, Im guilty of using those words with my year nines for sure. Im bargaining with them. I said the other day they could do something fun if they got through the 'work' I had given them. Geez. Im in survival mode with them. Had a huge talk to them the other day though and Im yet to see if it worked. Got them next so, we'll see.
